Leather Vambraces. Vambraces were used in various forms throughout history and offered some protection and support for the wrists and lower forearm. Similar to the leather Bracers used by archers but vambraces were usually worn on both arms.
 
Outer is constructed from stiff black leather hide with a padded natural coloured suede lining. 
 
Attachment to the arms is by leather laces which allows them to be adjusted to fit most arm girths.
